storage

we are building a 16×16 storage shed in our backyard. we have the walls up. now we need t know where to go from here….. door frame, rafters, etc. can anyone help me? more or less looking for do it yourself plans. any ideas?

I want to build a small garden storage shed. I searched the internet for plans but did not found. Do anyone know where i can get some?

I’m building a 10′ x 20′ shed and it’s going to be used mostly for storage and a small workshop. I have multiple power tools that need power, plus I would like to have lighting, and maybe even a fan. I’m no electrician, but we are going to move an outdoor outlet that’s a few feet away from the location of the shed, to the shed for some power. I know this isn’t enough power to do everything I need to do, so I was wondering if there are any alternate energy sources I could take advantage of to help add some more power to the shed, and how much would it cost, and generally speaking how you would do it? Thanks

Were can I get a plans for a good storage shed about 12 x 16 ft? What is the best type? Not much snow here. Lots of rain in winter. Must build soon and fast, so simplicity and low-budget a plus.

I am needing a place for my photography that is starting to pick up. My husband could possibly build me a barn style shed. I am looking for at least a 10×12, would love it if it had a loft for storage. If anyone knows where to get free plans or if you have plans that you are willing to share please let me know.

I have a metal utility building on the family farm I need to move to our property. But our house already had a barn and a little shed we use for gardening, plus we moved a 2 car carport and a (ugly!) utility building we use for outdoor equipment like the mower.

So I was thinking of making this building into something more for use than storage, but I don’t know what to do with it! It looks similar in construction and size as this one http://www.gr8sheds.com/metal%20side%20lofted%20barn.jpg except ours is silver and has one wide door rather than double doors. It has two windows on front like that and two on back. It has a plywood floor and was previously wired for electricity with several sockets and a light fixture. It will go in a corner of our fenced backyard with a few acres of woods behind it. So I’d paint it for sure and probably add a little porch covering. Then I’d decorate it with some flower boxes and stepping stones, whatnot. I just don’t know what to do with the inside. My only idea so far is a little outdoor room with somewhere to sit and read or talk. Any other suggestions?

So my roommate has this cat that she has had for years and years. He use to be an outdoor cat but since she moved 3 years ago, he can no longer be an outdoor cat according to park rules. So in the last 2 years he has started to spray, A LOT! At least once a week, and his choice spot is on the kitchen counter. YUCK! We think it is becuase there are other cats outside that roam around at night. That;s when he sprays. He paces around and then jumps onto the counter and does his bisuness all over the place! I hate it. We clean the counter with bleach, often, but I still will not use the counter for any cooking of let alone the kitchen for much of anything. I’m so disgusted.

She says she can’t get rid of him, but recently she has thought twice about it. I’m not sure all solutions she has tried to control this behavior. He is fixed and we have this wall plug in that looks like a glade thing but it has some feline calming stuff in it and it seems to have worked for a while, But instead of spratying there, he just found a new spot. He has ruined pillows, shoes, blankets, rugs. Many things. I keep eye on all my belongings and most of my stuff are still in boxes and in the storage shed. But I have no where else to go.

So before I let her go and get rid of her beloved cat, which I wish she would sometimes, is there anything that a book or website hasnt told me that maybe someone here could???
PLEASE!!!! I’m desperate.
